The Fayetteville Family Life Center (FFLC) is a faith-based ministry offering counseling, education, and support for individuals and families, primarily in Cumberland County. Founded in 1974 by local churches and NC Baptist Hospital, it continues its mission in partnership with Wake Forest Baptist Health. Services are offered on a sliding scale, with aid available for uninsured and underinsured clients, supported by churches, individuals, and an annual fall fundraising drive.
Because of HIPPA laws Wake Forest Baptist Health has suspended any use of volunteers in our clinical office. Volunteers still sit on the local board of directors.
The center is led by Director Robbie Byrd (484-0176), with Highland’s board representative, Jimmy Townsend.
