OPERATION ENGAGE
Operation Engage is supported by local groups and individuals with a heart for serving the homeless community in Fayetteville. Each Friday, volunteers gather at the 301 Wings restaurant parking lot (407 N Eastern Blvd) to hand out about 50 hot meals (burgers or hot dogs), along with snacks, hygiene items, and clothing.
Highland Presbyterian Church supports this effort by preparing the meals in our kitchen, while our Sunday School classes, Children’s program, and Women’s Group provide financial support, hygiene kits, and sock collections.
Volunteers are always welcome! Setup begins at 3:15 PM and usually wraps up by 4:00 PM—just a 45-minute commitment. Help is needed with packing bags, serving food, distributing items, and engaging with people.
